Travellers entering Singapore through the VLT scheme will now be required to produce a negative COVID-19 test result every day.
Travellers will now be required to undergo self-administered COVID-19 ARTs using self-procured ART kits on Days 2, 4, 5 and 6 of their arrival in Singapore. This is in addition to the supervised ARTs on Days 3 and 7. ART kits will not be provided upon arrival and will have to be purchased in Singapore by the travellers. Locations for the day 3 and 7 supervised tests can be found here.
The day that the traveller clears arrival immigration for entry into Singapore is counted as Day 1. To illustrate, if the traveller clears arrival immigration at 0030 hours (Singapore time) on 7 December 2021 (i.e. Day 1), he/she is required to undergo COVID-19 tests on the following days:
Day Date (for illustration purposes only) Test
1 7 December 2021 (arrive into Singapore) PCR test
2 8 December 2021 ART (unsupervised and self-declared)
3 9 December 2021 Supervised ART at QTC/CTC
4 10 December 2021 ART (unsupervised and self-declared)
5 11 December 2021 ART (unsupervised and self-declared)
6 12 December 2021 ART (unsupervised and self-declared)
7 13 December 2021 Supervised ART at QTC/CTC
For any questions about On Arrival Testing and Post Arrival Testing see here.
Note: Entry into Singapore required a VTP which must be applied AT LEAST 7 DAYS before departure, and no more than 60 days. There are no exemptions for this requirement. If your traveller has not gotten a VTL 7 days before their scheduled departure they will need to change their dates
