IMPORTANT COVID-19 TRAVEL INFORMATION WITH LUX

Here at Luxury Travel Planner, we understand this is a very difficult & frustrating time for you and as you can understand a devastating time for small businesses like us in the travel industry. If you can, we ask you don't cancel your trip but change the dates of your trip if and when possible. There are a number of options currently available to you...




✦ Have you booked travel insurance? If you have taken out Cover more 'Cancel For Any Reason' policy prior to 12th March 2020 with cancel for any reason, you are entitled to claim and cancel your trip.

✦ What if I took out travel insurance after 12th March? If you took out an insurance policy with us after the 12th March, you are not eligible to claim and cancel HOWEVER companies across the travel industry are allowing you to postpone your trip from a year out*. This is evaluated on a case by case basis so please contact your Luxury Travel Planner for updated information on how to postpone your trip.

✦ What if I am yet to take out travel insurance? Companies across the travel industry are allowing you to postpone your trip from a year out, please note will note able to take out cancel for any reason during this time.

Some hotels are offering a one-night cancellation fee or allowing you to postpone your trip, this also applies to Cruise-liners, please note these are case by case, if there is a full refund and partial refund please note this can take up to 12 weeks for the refund to received due to the back log of claims, also Luxury Travel Planner cancellation fees will apply.
