The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort in the Maldives is set to open in October.

The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort is situated on a coral island in the Baa Attoll — a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve site. It will feature 70 villas and suites, 41 on the island and 29 overwater. The overwater suites will have an area of almost 200 square metres each which is amongst the largest of any overwater suites in the Baa Atoll region.

Dining options include three resort restaurants and a rooftop bar. The Island Kitchen will utilise the Westin brand’s Eat Wellphilosophy through a menu combining Chinese, Indian and Maldivian cuisine. The Pearl is the resort’s specialty restaurant serving Japanese cuisine. At Hawker, guests can sample authentic Asian food in a casual restaurant and bar with a live kitchen. The Sunset Bar is a relaxed lounge serving tapas and cocktails.

The resort also features Westin’s signature branded spa concept, the Heavenly Spa by Westin, the 24-hour WestinWORKOUT fitness centre and the Westin Kids Club.
