DAY 2

Your tour guide will meet you at your hotel lobby. Explore Mumbai and beyond on a private full-day tour that begins with an excursion to Elephanta Caves—a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After touring the rock-carved temple caves, return to Mumbai for a comprehensive city tour that includes the Gateway of India, Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (Victoria Terminus), Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Mandai (Crawford Market), Marine Drive, the Hanging Gardens on Malabar Hill, the Gandhi Museum, Mahalaxmi Dhobi Ghat, and the Prince of Wales Museum.

DAY 3

DAY 4

After morning pickup from your hotel, explore the city with your private guide. Visit Jagdish Temple, a 3-story temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and built in 1651. Continue to the City Palace, one of the largest palaces in the world. See the Crystal Gallery, which features furniture and utensils all made from glass. At noon, take a boat ride on Lake Pichola, which is surrounded by bathing ghats and hills dotted with palaces and temples. In the afternoon, visit Saheliyon ki Bari, aka the Garden of Royal Ladies, made in the early 18th century as a summer palace and pleasure garden. Continue to Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal (Udaipur folk art museum). Your tour ends with hotel drop-off in the early evening.

DAY 5

This morning, fly to Jaipur also known as The Pink City and check in to your hotel Rambagh Palace, the former residence of the Maharajas of Jaipur. The palace retains its elaborate splendour, extravagantly decorated with hand-carved marble ‘jalis’ or latticework, sandstone balustrades, cupolas and ‘chattris’ or cenotaphs, and elaborate Mughal Gardens. Within this most glorious of palaces showcasing the best of Rajasthan’s royal heritage, you also experience the best fine-dining restaurants in Jaipur. At your leasure explore the city.

DAY 6

This morning you will be picked up by a driver and transferred to your hotel in Agra. 

The capital of the Mughal Empire in the 16th and 17th centuries, Agra is home to three UNESCO world heritage sites: the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and the ancient city of Fatehpur Sikri; all of which are legacies from Mughal times.

Hotel is located just 600 metres from the Taj Mahal, the world’s most exquisite testimony to undying love, it is easy to rekindle romance at The Oberoi Amarvilas. Inspired by Mughal palace designs; with fountains, terraced lawns, reflection pools and pavilions.

DAY 7

Start your day with early morning pickup from your hotel. Head to the Taj Mahal to see the sun rise over the World Heritage Site that was built in the 1600s by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the tribute to the memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Return to your hotel for breakfast, then visit the second World Heritage Site of the day, the Agra Fort. The imposing red sandstone fort was built by emperor Akbar in 1565 AD, with a design that combines both Hindu and Central Asian architectural styles. Then depart the city for the 1-hour drive to Fatehpur Sikri, the third World Heritage Site that you visit on the tour. Return to Agra and wrap up your tour by shopping for marble and soft stone inlay handicrafts, in addition to other crafts. At the end of the day, your guide returns you to your hotel.

DAY 8

Depart by train in 1st class to Khajuraho by train. Upon your arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. Pashan Garh or ‘stone fortress’ is a cluster of 12 stone cottages huddled atop a small hill, with a sweeping view of dense foliage. Set in 200 acres of private wilderness; this luxury jungle lodge draws inspiration from the dry-packed stone houses of the Panna region. The large and airy guest areas boast open courtyards and a stone deck overlooking the expanse of the forest down a gentle slope. A lookout tower offers a perfect perch for bird watching by day and stargazing after sundown

DAY 9

Today you will on a Safari Drive and you can decide on a morning or an afternoon. Morning safaris start shortly after sunrise. Along with the thrill of tiger tracking, is a memorable stop for a picnic breakfast. Afternoon safaris last a couple of hours and end at sunset. Pashan Garh is equidistant from Hinouta and Madla gates, two official entry points to the Panna National Park. Both gates lead to different habitats and offer panoramic views. The expert naturalists are always updated about animal movements, especially those of tigers and leopards and formulate the day’s safari plans keeping guest preferences in mind.

Today you will fly to Varanasi - the heart of spiritual India. True to the city’s timeless spirit, the hotel shifts gears from urbane luxury to spiritual epiphanies without missing a beat. Your experience of ethereal Varanasi will be defined by the warmth and opulence at Taj Ganges.

DAY 11

After early morning pickup at 5:30 am from your hotel, take a sunrise boat ride on the sacred Ganges River. Witness morning rituals performed at the riverside. Afterwards, follow your guide on a short walking tour of the old city's alleyways and catch sight of the Kashi Vishwanath, one of the holiest Hindu temples. Tour the  Banaras Hindu University and see the Bharat Kala Bhavan museum and the new Vishwanath Temple (Birla Temple). Continue to Mother India Temple, built-in 1918. Afterwards, drive about eight miles (13 km) to Sarnath to take in Dhamekh Stupa, known as the place where the Buddha gave his first sermon. At 5pm, take another boat ride on the Ganges to view the cremation grounds, then return to Dashashwamedh Ghat to watch the evening Ganga Aarti ceremony.

DAY 12

This morning you will fly to Delhi. You will be transferred to your hotel - The Leela Palace New Delhi. The hotel is a blend of Lutyen's architecture and the royal Indian culture. Rest of the day is free to rest or enjoy time by the highest and the only rooftop pool in the capital.

DAY 13

In the morning local driver and local tour expert will meet you at the hotel lobby and start your full-day city tour of Delhi. Arrive at Jama mosque, which was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan between 1644 and 1656. Later visit Chandani Chowk bazaar, it is a street in Delhi known for its wholesale grocery and Asia's largest wholesale spice market selling all kinds of spices, nuts, herbs and food products like rice and tea.

 

Visit India Gate which is counted among the largest war memorials in India. Located in the centre of New Delhi, it was built by Edwin Lutyens In 1921. Later you will drive pass through President house also known as Rashtrapati Bhavan. You will also visit the Lotus Temple, located in the city centre is a Bahá'í House of Worship that was dedicated on December 1986, costing $10 million. Notable for its flowerlike shape, it has become a prominent attraction in the city.
