At Luxury Travel Planner (LTP), we want your trip to be as easy as possible so we have put all your documentation in one place with our partnership with Umapped (trips).

Follow the steps below to explore all of the 'Unmapped' features - with the help of the video guide.

Starting from the top under the Luxury Travel Planner logo you will see 3 headings. The first option is Itinerary. This is the main page where you will be able to view all trip bookings with LTP as a timeline.

The second tab is Documentation. By clicking on this tab you will see all your documents i.e. eTicket, Travel Insurance policy etc...

The new additional feature is for Covid-19. This will provide you with the travel requirements and information about departing and arriving at your destination. Click here to learn more about the travel requirements tab.

When looking at the top of the page you will note on the right of the page 3 buttons. The first one is to add to calendar. This will enter all travel information into your electronic calendar - flight details, hotels, cruises and anything else that you are doing. This means you will not miss a thing!

The next icon is,
share. This allows you to share your travel plan with other travellers that are also going as well as family and friends - this is a great feature as it allows those close to you to know where you are.

The final icon is,
download. This will download your trip as a PDF to save on your device. You can easily  print out your travel plan. Please note: if you would like your travel documentation printed out for your trip and posted to you with your travel planner - I only post documentation with a minimum spend of $5000 and it must be booked with accommodation, cruise or tour.

When looking at the itinerary from the top, everything is in time order and some important information will appear there like, travel requirements and travel insurance. The rest of your trip will then appear sequentially.

With LTP and Trips, all your information is in one place. When you click on the flight you will notice the booking number, flight number, time of departure and arrival information including the terminal. Please note that sometimes this information changes at short notice.

You will also notice you can do your
online check in 24 hours before departure via the app too. This will redirect you to the airlines website to start your online check in. Passenger information will appear here - this will have your name that appears on your ticket, please make sure it matches your passport. It will also include the cabin type as well as any extra information like frequent flyer number(s) and meal service on the flight. Please note: if you have requested a special meal i.e. vegetarian this will be on the eTicket - please refer to the attachment.

Under the passenger information you will see the baggage policy. You can click on this link to find out the
baggage policy for the airline you are flying on.

The next field that you will see is
additional information. This will have the aircraft that you are flying on, the duration (flight time), any transit stops and more information from the airline. Please note: this might differ from each airline as we rely on each airline to feed this information into our booking system.

Another wonderful feature when booking with LTP is that if there is a delay or worse the flight is cancelled you will get an email about the delay or cancellation straight to your email. Please note: check with the airline directly or your Travel Planner if the booking is within 24 hours. You will also get updates related to your trip about gate changes or changes with the booking.

You will also get an insight into the airline about its features and benefits when flying. It will have information about the cabin and service on offer. It usually will give you information on their frequent flyer points program and where applicable information on added extras like bidding for upgrades. This section will make sure you are informed to make the right choice when picking your next flight.

At LTP we book everything - flights, transfers, hotels, Air BnB, cruises, travel insurance, rail tickets, car hire, tours, restaurants, shows and so much more. When booking your next holiday make sure you book the whole package and have everything in terms of documentation in one place. For example - when booking a hotel, you will have all the information that you will need for your arrival including the booking number of your reservation, address (including a map - this is great when going in a cab or rideshare vehicle) and contact phone number that is clickable that will call them from your phone. You will also have an insight about the hotel and its facilities including the room types.

At the time of booking you should be aware of all the terms and conditions with LTP and suppliers that you have booked with once you have made payment. This means that you are agreeing with all the terms and conditions.

If you are happy to proceed with the quote or need to make final payment this will have all your information in one place you can also make credit card payment via secure online form. An invoice will be uploaded for you to refer to as well as a payment receipt to refer back to if needed.

I hope you enjoy this new feature with LTP. I look forward to planning more trips with you in the future and once again thank you for all the support.
